Tie an orange ribbon 'round any old tree.
"They" are working in our neighborhood this week, cutting down trees. A man in a huge loud Asplundh truck who asked me to move my car from in front of the house said "the electric company" wanted the trees away from the power lines. Hmmm.

Well, I do have a better view of the park. Lovely. I can now watch Linds walk Leo from my desk without even craning my neck. Perfect. I think I didn't mind having to get up and check on her every few minutes.
I wish it didn't have to come to this:
All this has set Linds & Em into action on a nascent Save The Trees campaign. They want us to use recycled paper products (we do) and raise money to plant more trees. They're starting by making these cool tank tops.

I think they're on to something, no? If they amass enough inventory, I might have to get them an Etsy account! (More likely they'll be selling them to their sisters.)
Proud to be raising treehuggers. Thanks for reading.
