Friday Happiness
:: A grey day, but yesterday there was some sun. And tomorrow, February ends.I've nothing against February, but yearning for Spring before March makes you sound a little delusional. Once March comes, you just sound optimistic.
::French toast for breakfast; using up the whole wheat sourdough. Shamelessly going back to white flour for bread baking.
::Elizabeth's show is up now. The work is beautiful; calming. Restful to look at after the jumble of The Obama Show.
::Listening to all the talk this week about Mark Bittman. In general, it makes sense to me; common sense, in fact. I'm going to distill it into : eat less meat, eat more plants, move more.
Oh, and try not to eat two and a half bagels for breakfast. That's the toughie for me.
::Field trip today to the barber shop, to have the mullet shaped into a pretty little pageboy, or somesuch.
Enjoy the weekend! Thanks for reading.

You know I love Mark Bittman too. I heard him recommend eating like a vegan until 6pm and than anything you want for dinner...It's been working for me because it's simple and it makes sense....
Elizabeth's work is just lovely....Have a great weekend!
It' faux-spring here today too, and it does make me feel optimistic... February is just soooo long, despite the 28 days!
I love Mark Bittman, and I hear you on the bagels. When you're having bagels for breakfast, how can you stop at one?
Happy weekend!
i haven't read the mark bittman (i will do that next), but that sounds like a good philosophy...eat less meant, eat more plants, move more. add that to "what are you gonna remember" and you've got yourself a lifestyle that just might work!
and i'm sure you don't have a mullet.
hope you can find time to make some robots...it only takes paper, scissors and glue sticks. :-)
It is truly unfair how many calories bagels have.
