A weekend is best when it includes:Lots of time to sit and think. Sit and talk. Sit still.
Friends. Food. Footsie.
Park tennis. (No net needed.)
Surprises. Presents. (No birthday needed.)
Salad. Cheese. Chocolate.
Hugs. Kisses. A little bit of crying.
Joy.

you know, you're absolutely right.
is that a glass of red wine? because that would make it perfect! it must have been something in the air, the weekend was perfect here too, even if it ended with rain.
haha - i didn't see this post before our recent emails. yes, your weekends (and the days before and after) look familiar. i was just thinking about your footsies picture over on flickr, and how george and i stayed up late friday night, sitting at the kitchen counter, drinking jagermeister and discussing children, parenting, work, life, etc. it wasn't picture worthy, but it was memorable.
Sounds as if you had a wonderful weekend!
