Oh, well.

The rain here is relentless. Teasing. There were a few moments, driving home from the market, where the sun came out, and we turned to each other and said "what's this?"And then we napped. And in through the windows at some point, drifted the heady, earthy smell of wet dirt. It actually woke me up. And I didn't know what it was until I looked out the window.
It was, simply, rain. Again.
But, despite this rain, we had friends and family and barbecue and fun.
Happy Father's Day to all of you; Brian and David, Glenn and Steve, Adam and Eric, and John, and Craig, and Andrew (twice), and most of all to you, Dad, and you, Tim.
We are, all of us girls here, lucky to have you around. And we love you. Lots.
More tomorrow. Thanks for reading.
