Tuesday

Sometimes, the thought of certain things changing, or going away, sends a chill through my veins. When it doesn't, I know it's time to let go.
Sometimes, I'm surprised by which things are which.

I love the way rain changes your whole day.
I love listening to a four year old making plans with her grandparents over the phone.
I love the photos in the latest issue of this joy + ride.
I love The Work at Hand, the introduction to this cookbook. It made me weep. A cookbook made me weep. It was written twenty years ago, and every word is relevant.
More tomorrow. Thanks for reading.

love the photos - especially the green table top + yellow roses. beautiful.
i can't get over the fact you have six young girls, that's just amazing to me. perhaps that's why there was an obstacle course around your flower arrangement? :)
it's rainy here today too & it totally changed my plans.
also my word verification has the word rain in it!
Beautiful flowers, Tara!
The rain is washing away our azaleas, but our lupines and catmint are going strong, and there's more to come.
i love this series of photos. as far as roses go - yellow are my favorite.
