This afternoon, on the drive home from the orthodontist's office, the light on the fields at Stone Barns was so breathtaking, I had to pull the car over and get out and take some pictures. I got out of the car, leaving Lindsey reading on the passenger seat, and ran (ran!) back down the road towards the cows and the orange.
Running down that road with my camera, I felt not at all ridiculous, but happy, instead.

Also, I love this article on The Four Coursemen in Food & Wine November. With photographs by Rinne Allen. And this incredible India ink runner by one of the lovely creators of Hable Construction.

Tomorrow, something equally as lovely and creative using India ink, by my love.
Goodnight all. Thanks for reading.

drats! my few (and all food) magazine subscriptions are lagging with my address change. i've checked out the four coursemen article but also saw a recipe on the f& wine site for spaghetti squash (have you ever made it?) that looks great (i'm a sucker for pine nuts...) ahem, back to the photos:stunning and worth running for (seriously they are gorgeous).
