somewhere along the line today, running errands, i lost two hundred-dollar-bills that tim gave me to buy some groceries and the last of the christmas presents.
i know i should be able to bounce right back from such a thing. it's only money, la la la.
that's a whole lot of money for us right now.
and i'm not usually careless. i might even say never.
i keep retracing my steps. i called the camera shop, the bookstore, and the bakery. no luck. cleaned out my wallet, scoured the car. nada.
i just needed to get this off of my chest before i tried to come up with something happy for tomorrow.
if you find two, crisp hundred-dollar-bills, give me a call.
if not, give me a hug. thanks for reading.

Oh what a terrible feeling. I'm sorry and also send a hug your way.
big hugs for you, tara.
i'll be on the lookout...
ohhh, that stinks! and i am speaking from personal experience here -- i've done the exact same thing, at christmas too! and my brother and his wife lost thousands (don't ask...)
i am sending hugs, and hoping very much that if the money cannot find its way back to you, that it is in the hands of someone who needs it very desperately.
oh no. i would be beside myself too.
i'm sorry that happened.
oh
oh
oh
I know that ugly feeling in your gut.
I am sending you a big hug from out west.
Here's a hug. It's come a long way- from Spain.
And an extra one, just in case you need it. :)
Oh no! That's awful. I would cry.
My fingers are crossed that it miraculously shows up.
Tara, that's awful. I'm sorry that happened!
oh no...sending good thoughts that you will find it.
i'd be in tears. so sorry, friend. i hope it turns up. big hugs.
i hope you find them. so sorry tara. sending so many hugs.
That is just the WORST. I'm so sorry.
Oh, I hate when that happens and at such a hectic time. I hope your luck turns around and thank you for always inspiring me to see things on the brighter side. Thanks for sharing.
oh tara! that's just horrible. i would be sick about it too. once upon a time, we threw away a bag of small car parts that needed to be returned to the volvo dealer, valuing over $300, because we thought it was a bag of garbage. now the previous post with two hundred dollar monopoly bills makes perfect sense. big hugs from california! wish i had a money tree and could send you clippings.
