good stuff:
eating chewy coconut cookies.
working from home together, while the gallery is in-between shows.
looking at far from the city, a book of polaroids by julia paul (my birthday gift from tim.)
savoring this cookbook (my birthday gift from tim's mom.)
daydreaming about wearing this.
planning my (almost eleven-year-old) daughter's birthday dinner.
and,
appreciating a little sunshine and blue skies in january, while it lasts.
any good stuff you'd like to share?

pass the cookies, i wanna look on with you at the cookbook and the polaroid book...or we can switch?
Small world; just bought that cookbook for myself last weekend. I hope you enjoy it!
...i LOVE sundance.
i grew up in utah and it was always a beautiful place to go to. my girlfriend got her start as a jewelry designer in their "general store"...now her pieces have been IN the sundance catalog.
if you are ever IN salt lake city, utah...they have a SUNDANCE OUTLET STORE. i have to visit every time i go there.
your beautiful shirt will end up there someday for a fraction of the price....it's a fun treasure hunt.
great blog
what a gorgeous photo today...it sounds as if you received a few very thoughtful presents for your birthday (now if you want you could pass on the recipe for "gigi potato gnocci with chicken and pea ragu).
warm wishes and blue skies,
beth
LOVE that shirt! What am I dreaming of...April and getting away from it all.
Chewy coconut cookies ~ good stuff indeed!
Those books both look yummy!...as do the cookies
good stuff --
the little blast of warmth that lets me leave the big winter coat at home (hate driving with a big coat)
a fortuitous visit to the quilt shop where the owner told me I had arrived with 10 minutes left on the 40% off everything in the store sale
Alex writing an extra paragraph for his homework just because he wanted to
wishing you more little good things!
Good stuff indeed. I'm loving the evening thunderstorms after sweltering days. (Down here in the southern hemisphere).
Best wishes for your birthday too...
I am intrigued by the cookbook... let us know if you try anything soon.
It is the last day of semester one for my grade 9's. They are then off until next Wednesday. Then we begin Italian. Should be fun.
Can my good thing to share be the fact that I just had a flu shot at work, and that it's making me feel slightly drunk?
Have a meeting now. keep your fingers crossed.
