well, hi.
i was awakened at 5:30 am this morning by two things: an orange kitten who thought that every time i moved my foot under the covers i was inviting her to play, and, a phone call informing us that the kids around here were to report to school today for approximately two and a half hours. and then come home. and most likely stay home tomorrow, too.
ok, so i've got some cooking to do. i'm a compulsive stocker-upper in case of a snow day, but this one took me by surprise. no one's going to go hungry around here, but i will have to get a little creative.
that's ok, i like a challenge.
in the meantime, these are a few of the color film photos i took around the house yesterday.
enjoy the day! the snow is so pretty here, right now.

I'm too compulsive a stocker-upper to not go out and shop even in slick slurpee-like snow, but there sure were a lot of accidents. You have the better plan.
Love your photos, both color and b&w!
do you develop your own film? I love your at home shots
I love these shots, the colors came out beautiful. Thanks for inspiring me to pull out my Pentax and give it another try!
tara, your film shots are beautiful! enjoy the snow days!
i miss snow days and i love that dresser. the photos are really good.i lamented the end of my film cameras life but am having fun with my favorite 50mm lens and secretly covet the fish-eye lens.i was at the sfmoma this weekend checking out the luc tayman exhibit and came across this in the museum store: http://blackbirdflycamera.com/....very interesting, no?
happy snow day!
again, i see joy in these photos. especially that first one.
i hope you guys are hunkered down and enjoying your days off of school.
Yeah that was fast photo taking and processing! The color is so nice, will you share what film you use? And oh the fabric pattern in the top photo makes me {happily} think of the linoleum floor in my grandparents' house.
I hope you take more film.
Are you still busy cooking?
You have definitely inspired me to go get out my old Pentax...
Love your film shots...B&W and the color today...you have the best eye for the everyday...whether film or digital...
Love the first one ...
