New Gallery Opens in Tarrytown

A fine art gallery exhibiting eclectic works; photography, paintings, mixed media opens in Tarrytown, New York. Influences from Edward Hopper to Jean-Michel Basquiat to Albert Pinkham Ryder. Showing abstracts to landscapes to portraits.

There are not a lot art galleries in Westchester, County but there is a new art gallery in Tarrytown, New York. Eyebuzz Fine Art will be showing a variety of work from Hudson Valley artists as well as artist from New York City and around the country. When looking for artwork in the Hudson Valley, Eyebuzz, and Tarrytown itself, would be a great stop. There are a few other art galleries in Tarrytown as well as some very fine restaurants.

"Tarrytown is a great place to live and with the opening of the art gallery it is also a great place to work." says gallery owner Tara Thayer.

"Being a westchester art gallery has it's advantages," says Tim Thayer, "for us there is less competition than Manhattan galleries and for the public we offer a relaxed, easy and close location to see art in Westchester."

"A Westchester contemporary art gallery also makes sense," says Tara Thayer. "Art is such a personal thing, it is about "home" and about ourselves, so it's nice to see art work in the communities where we live."

"We would welcome more art galleries in Tarrytown and art galleries in Irvington," says Tim. "I can see Tarryown becoming a destination for art buyers in Westchester County."

Visitors have been excited to see the art space in Tarrytown. The gallery is here to sell art, but also for people to just come a look - to think about the current show - whether it is abstracts, landscapes, mixed media, photography, or paintings.

Westchester County has always been a place with well enducated, intellectually minded people. Increasingly creative people too. There is no denying Westchester citizens benefit from the the proximity to New York City and the art and culture there. However, sometimes it is nice to think in our own backyard. Eyebuzz Fine Art Gallery is open Monday - Friday 10 -4 PM and Saturday Noon - 4+ (closed Mondays in the summer). Visit the Gallery in Tarrytown soon.

Best wishes,
Tim and Tara Thayer
